Born with little, I’ll leave with little—but in between, I’ve been given the world.
My photography is about purity: the raw essence of a landscape, the unspoken emotion in a fleeting moment, the quiet perfection of a small detail. Natural light and strong compositions are my tools, but my true focus is on the stories unfolding before the lens—stories of resilience, beauty, and the subtle power of the everyday.
For me, photography isn’t just about capturing what I see; it’s about honoring what I feel. Whether it’s the vastness of Iceland’s wilderness, the intimacy of a community, or the play of light on a single leaf, I aim to create images that linger, that invite you to pause and truly see.

Met weinig geboren, met weinig vertrek ik – maar daartussenin heb ik de wereld gekregen. Mijn fotografie draait om zuiverheid: de rauwheid van een landschap, de onuitgesproken emotie in een vluchtig moment, de stille perfectie van een klein detail. Natuurlijk licht en sterke composities zijn mijn gereedschap, maar mijn echte focus ligt op de verhalen die zich voor de lens ontvouwen: verhalen van veerkracht, schoonheid en de subtiele kracht van het alledaagse.
Fotografie is voor mij niet alleen vastleggen wat ik zie, maar ook eer betonen aan wat ik voel. Of het nu de weidsheid van IJsland is, de intimiteit van een gemeenschap of het spel van licht op een enkel blad – ik streef naar beelden die blijven hangen, die je uitnodigen om stil te staan en écht te kijken.
